Where it began…

A hillside cottage perched above a crumbling rubble wall just waiting for a little TLC. The overgrown garden and deteriorating access stairs prevented this home from functioning as a safe place for the homeowners to spend time with their grandchildren.

After working with AUX Architects to reinforce the hillside and stair access, plant selections focused on creating a soft, whimsical space, attracting pollinators, adding lots of color and texture to delight all year round. Hidden patches of strawberries, passionfruit and other edible and aromatic plants for the grandchildren to explore and nibble on when in season.
