Where it began…

The hillside property, though it had some stunning views and a few interesting plant specimens, was just not appropriate to be usable for the growing family.

We terraced the hillside to maximize flat play space, added deep stairs that wrap the small lawn that double as seating and amphitheater for parties, with a built in banquette and fire pit for gathering late into the evening.

New olive trees were strategically placed to soften the glare of the evening sun that sets over the stunning views of Los Angeles. Succulents and native plants summon butterflies and hummingbirds and the new deck of the main bedroom surrounds a redwood soaking tub positioned to feel like you are floating above the city.
